have practiced together creating one of the largest and most successful offices in San Francisco,with 8 talented Speech-Language Pathologists on their team.
Sara H. Spencer, MS, CCChas been in private practice for over 20 years. She worked at Letterman Army Medical Center for 12 years mainly handling pediatric cases, she has published two therapy books, and has also worked as a supervisor and instructor at San Francisco State University in the Communicative Disorders Department since 1992. She specializes in language and learning disabilities for children ages 6 and up. She also works with adults with neurogenic disorders.

Shannon Kong, MS, CCCearned her Bachelor's of Science Degree in Developmental Psychology then her Master's of Science Degree in Communicative Disorders in 1996 and has been working in private practice ever since. In addition, she has worked in several school districts in the Bay Area with the preschool population as well as in classrooms designed for children with Autism. Shannon also enjoyed working as a Clinic Supervisor at SFSU throughout 2003. She works exclusively with toddlers and preschoolers, specializing in Autism / PDD-NOS and Apraxia.
Suzanne Barbour, MS, CCC joined our office in August 2005 after receiving her Bachelor's degree in Psychology then her Master's degree in Communicative Disorders. Suzanne has also been trained in the Lindamood-Bell method. She spent two years working with children ages 2 to 12 within the public school system. She now treats children from 2 on up with various disorders including Apraxia, Autism, and language and learning disorders.

Ben Barrett, MS, CCCobtained his Master's Degree in Communicative Disorders from SFSU in 2008 after earning his Master's Degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) in 1999. Prior to becoming a SLP, Ben taught ESL at San Francisco State and City College of San Francisco, as well as in Japan. He now works on articulation with school-aged children, reading comprehension and essay writing with adolescents, and neurogenic speech and language disorders with adults. Ben also enjoys working on accent reduction with non-native speakers of English.
Mega Boise, MS, CCC joined our team in January 2010 after earning her Master's of Science Degree from SFSU. Mega has had a variety of unique work experiences including interning at the Bridge School in Burlingame, working as a Speech Therapy Aide at CPMC's CDC for 2 years, working with Son-Rise for one year, and working as a research assisant at SFSU. She currently works with children of all ages.
Kirsten Van Der Linden, MS, CCC
joined our team in July 2010. After graduating in 2007 with her Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Bowling Green State University, she accepted a position as a traveling therapist, working with children ages 3 through 15 in various school districts within L.A. County, Cincinnati OH, and the Bay Area. Kirsten also has experience working within hospital, skilled nursing facility and home healthcare settings. Kirsten enjoys working with children and adults of all ages and levels.
Kelly Cooper-Bistricky, MS, CCC joined our team in July 2010. After graduating in 2006 with her Master's of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Kelly moved to Kansas City where she worked in the Kansas City Public Schools. From 2002-2005, Kelly worked at The Listening Center in Walnut Creek and briefly volunteered at the Herrick Campus of Alta Bates Medical Center working in early intervention.
Tylene Taylor, MS, CCC joined our team in January 2011. Before that, she worked as a Speech-Language Pathology Aide for six years, as a Behavioral Therapist for one year, and as a Case Manager at Regional Center of the East Bay for one year. She has extensive experience working with toddlers and with children with Autism.

Bethany Levat, MS, CCC is joining our team in August 2011. After earning her Master of Science Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Syracuse University in 2006, she spent five years working in New York, NY at a center-based special education preschool as well as working with home-based early intervention, preschool, and school age children. Bethany has extensive experience working with children with various language and phonological disorders, behavior difficulties, and developmental disorders such as Pervasive Developmental Disorder and Aspergers syndrome. She has been trained in PROMPT (PROMPTs for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets), Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and behavior management.
